Day 17: Religious Freedom for Believers and Wisdom for Government
Prayer Points
- That God will allow believers to share the Gospel in Israel without legal or political obstacles, even though ultra-Orthodox political parties are seeking to make all evangelism illegal and punishable with prison
- That in spite of occasional persecution and legal discrimination, God will grant miraculous breakthroughs, provision, protection, and freedom for believers so they can build His Kingdom in Israel
- That the political leaders of Israel will recognize their own inadequacy, repent of pride, and seek wisdom and help from God, and turn to their Messiah, Yeshua, the Wonderful Counselor
- That believers will be in places of influence to speak biblically and prophetically to the decision-makers of the nation
- That the leadership of the nation will establish true social justice for all of the sectors of society
- That economic systems will be set up that promote the flourishing of the nation, and that any corruption will be exposed and removed

1 Timothy 2:1-4 Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Isaiah 32:15a, 16-18 Until the Spirit is poured upon us from on high…. Then justice will dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness remain in the fruitful field. The work of righteousness will be peace, and the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance forever. My people will dwell in a peaceful habitation, in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places
“Then I will turn My hand on you, purge away your dross, and remove all your alloy. I will restore your judges as at first, your counselors as at the start. Afterward you will be called City of Righteousness, Faithful City. Zion will be redeemed with justice, her repentant with righteousness.”

James 1:5, 3:17 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you…. And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding.
