Day 3: Realizing Yeshua is the Jewish Messiah, not the Founder of a Foreign Religion
Prayer Points
- That Israelis won’t automatically reject Yeshua because they think that He established a new religion separate from the Hebrew Scriptures (Old Testament), but instead will see that He was the fulfillment of all that the Hebrew prophets spoke of
- That Israelis will be willing to read the New Testament and see that it’s not a dangerous and anti-Semitic book that contradicts the Hebrew Scriptures, but instead is the continuation of the beautiful history of God’s redemption of mankind through the Messiah
- That more and more Jewish people will see that Yeshua came as a Jewish man to His own people, lived according to Hebrew Scriptures, celebrated the Biblical Feasts of the Lord, and fulfilled the Messianic prophecies
- That God will raise up more believers – Jewish and Gentile – to effectively share the Gospel with Jewish people in a way that connects with their own life and culture, and that they will embrace Yeshua as their own Messiah
- That just as Joseph revealed himself to his brothers and they recognized that he was not a foreigner and were finally reconciled to him, Yeshua will reveal Himself to His people and they will see Him as their brother and Savior
