Scripture – We believe that the Bible, composed of both the Old Testament (Tanakh) and the New Testament, is the inspired and inerrant Word of God. The Bible is the final authority for all we believe and how we are to live.
God – We believe in one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus, Yeshua – We believe that Jesus (or as we say in Hebrew, Yeshua) is the promised Messiah and Savior. The Scriptures declare His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His substitutionary work on the cross, His bodily resurrection, and His exaltation to the right hand of God, where He is interceding on behalf of believers.
Divinity of Jesus, Yeshua – We believe that Jesus is fully God and fully man. As the only begotten Son of the Father and the Divine Messiah, Jesus is the fullest revelation of God to man.
Man – We believe that God made man in His own image and endowed him with a longing for intimate fellowship with God.
Sin – We believe that man's sin (disobedience to God's commands) caused a separation between man and God and incurred both physical and spiritual death. We believe that since the fall, human beings are born with a sinful nature that leads them to sin in thought, word, and deed.
Salvation – We believe that the only way to receive salvation from our sins and reconciliation to God is by grace (not by works) through faith in Jesus, Yeshua, who died for our sins and rose from the dead, triumphing over sin and death.
New Birth – We believe that all who repent from sin and put their trust in the Messiah are born again of the Holy Spirit, become children of God, and inherit eternal life.
Holy Spirit – We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells and gives life to believers, helps us to understand the Scriptures, sanctifies us, equips us for service and witness, and empowers us to do what is pleasing in God’s sight so that we might be progressively conformed to the image of Messiah.
Body of Messiah – We believe that all who trust in Jesus, Yeshua, become members of the universal Body of Messiah, the ekklesia. This one spiritual fellowship includes both Jews and Gentiles as equal members.
Resurrection – We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved to everlasting life and the lost to eternal separation from God.
Return of Jesus, Yeshua – We believe that the Messiah will soon return to this earth, personally, visibly, in power and great glory to establish His eternal Kingdom. Hallelujah! Maranatha!
